The Law of Attraction

When you talk about the law of attraction, inevitably the movie “The Secret” comes up somewhere in the conversation.   In that film a couple of dozen experts on Universal Laws spoke about our ability to utilize our thoughts to manifest our wishes and dreams. This movie flipped a switch for many and left many more excited about the possibility of harnessing this powerful universal law to better their lives.  What they quickly realized is that “The Secret” really left us void of a good deal of the information we need.  I believe that this was done by design. read more »

New Beginnings...Stepping Through The Fear

Many times in our lives we are faced with situations that have us staring squarely into the face of the unknown.  It may be a huge decision you need to make that will change the direction of your life or it may be something small such as which way to turn when you are travelling and you are lost.  Whatever the scenario, when you are faced with uncertainty there is one constant for all of us...Fear.  How you deal with that fear can differentiate you from the vast majority who are just getting by. Recently, I made a decision that had me facing a great deal of fear and anxiety. It also made me grateful that I am studying and teaching the material we share.  Let me explain... read more »

What Questions Are You Asking Yourself?

From the Universal Wealth Newsletter - Tuesday May 27, 2008 - Edition 18

What questions are you asking yourself? Maybe it makes more sense to ask, how are you asking the questions you are asking yourself?

When things happen to us that we don't like, one of the ways  we deal with that is to try to analize the event.  We  often ask ourselves, "Why do these bad things always seem to happen to me?" or, "Why do I get all of the bad luck?" read more »

Multiple Sources Of Income

One of the greatest concepts of those people who earn a whole lot of money is the concept of having many sources of income.  It is an idea that, until recently, was not widely understood.  The term has been around for quite some time and while some people are familiar with term, it is widely misunderstood and even more widely underutilized.

One of the reasons for this is that most people look at earning money as a j.o.b. (stands for “just over broke”).  Really though, most wealthy people look at earning money as a big game.  They view it as an opportunity for them to allow their creativity to flourish.  They realize that it is a chance for them to express their inner abundance (which we all have).  They are forever trying to improve their “game” and are always getting better and better. read more »

Living On The Edge

Anybody who has had the pleasure of being in the presence of Bob Proctor knows that he does not just present his concepts on stage.  They know that he lives these teachings and they are the principles that guide his every move.  They also know that Bob is constantly sharing these principles.  He never shuts it off and gives new meaning to the term “walks the talk”.  In fact, one of his sons tells the story of how even Thanksgiving at the Proctor home turns into a seminar.

He is forever coming out with something so profound that it will cause you to stop dead in your tracks and really ponder what he just shared.  For example we have all heard the saying that “it’s better to be safe than sorry”.  It, of course, implies that it is better to not risk but rather play it safe.  Now, Bob’s thinking is a little different than this because he always says that “if you are not living on the edge, then you are probably taking up too much room”.  read more »

You Don't Need To Know How

The hit movie called “The Secret” is a phenomenon that is sweeping the globe.  Millions of copies have been sold worldwide and this has happened in spite of the fact that the creators of “The Secret” have never spent a penny on advertising.

“The Secret”, whether in book form or the movie, has opened peoples minds to the kind of life that we are supposed to live.  It has shown people that it is within their reach to enjoy riches in every form and it is all based on the little green book that Wallace D. Wattles wrote way back in 1903.  That book was appropriately called “The Science of Getting Rich”. read more »

Step Three: Receive

Ask, believe and receive.  The simplicity of the formula is one of the most wonderful aspects of the process of deliberate attraction.  However, it is often the simplicity of it that can cause some people to not apply it correctly and possibly even overlook it altogether.   In our last two newsletters we have discussed the true meaning and some best practices regarding the “asking” and the “believing” steps of the formula.  This week we’ll dig deeper into the best part, the receiving part. read more »

Step Two: Believe

Ask, believe and receive.  Last week we discussed how this was the formula that was given to us by the teachers of “The Secret”.  We talked about the “asking” step and how important it is that we be clear and specific during this phase of the process.  If the picture in our mind of what we want is fuzzy or incomplete, so will the physical results that are manifested into our lives.  read more »
